School Times

Dropping off in the morning:

• At 8:30am the school gates will open.

• At 8:40am your child will be able to enter the school building.  Parents are responsible for children until they enter the school building.  Parents must not leave children unattended in the playground before school or outside the school gates.

• At 8:55am, your child's entrance door and the school gates close, and lessons begin.  The classroom attendance register also closes at this time.  Remember, ‘Be on time, by five to nine’.

• If you arrive after 8:55am, your child is late and you must bring them into school via the main school office entrance, where you will need to sign them in.  This ensures that your child is recorded as being in school.

• If you wish to speak to your child's class teacher, please wait until the end of the school day.  Teachers are not available in the morning as they are in class with the pupils. If you have an urgent query, please speak to another member of staff on the school gates or in the playground, or contact the school office.

Collecting at the end of the school day:

• At 3:15pm the school gates will open for parents. If any outdoor lessons are still taking place, this may be later. 

• At 3:25pm lessons end and your child will be dismissed from school. 

• You must be on the playground by 3:25pm at the latest to collect your child. 

• If you arrive after 3:25pm, you may need to collect your child from the main school office and sign them out. 

• If you wish to speak to your child's class teacher at the end of the school day, please wait until they have dismissed all children first.  Ensuring children leave school safely and with the appropriate person is their priority at the end of every school day.  If you have an urgent query, please speak to a member of staff on the school gates or in the playground, or contact the school office.
