From 1st April 2022, the Government's 'Living with COVID' plan moved into its final phase. COVID-19 continues to be a virus that we learn to live with and the imperative to reduce the disruption to children and young people’s education remains.

This advice and support page outlines the actions school leaders should take to manage COVID-19 in their school. This includes public health advice, endorsed by the United Kingdom Health Security Agency (UKHSA) and Birmingham City Council Public Health Department.

Are parents and visitors allowed into school?

We are exceptionally pleased to have welcomed parents back into school.  All dates and times of planned events and workshops etc. can be found in the school calendar.

In addition to on site events, we will continue to offer some virtual options as per parent requests.  For example, parents’ evenings will consist of an on site and a virtual option.

Do I need to wear a face covering in and around school?

The wearing of facemasks is now a personal choice.

Is the school still cleaned more often?

Yes.

We still have increased capacity. Shared resources and equipment is cleaned throughout the day, as are surfaces that are touched regularly, such as door handles.
